My name is Smith Chima Wilfred also known as Dakinging.
I am a UI/UX Designer, Graphics Designer, Illustrator, Video Editor and Photographer from Lagos, Nigeria. Currently residing there.
Graphic Design and Video Editing were my gateways into the Creative Industry, which led to me learning and acquiring more skills and later taking my first steps into the digital world.

How Was I Able To Acquire All These Skills
My Creative Process In Developing My Designs
I started as an intern in graphics design for a cafe in 2018, but I wasn't doing much then. Then in 2019, I decided to master and learn more in graphics by learning online via YouTube. I started watching youtube tutorials and learning how to use Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effect and one month, I got a job at Ignite Digital as a graphics designer. My mastering photoshop made me interested in taking my own pictures therefore in 2021 I started photography, Along the line I fell in love with UI/UX Design, and then I started an internship with Ignite Digital as a UI/UX Designer and also mastered Prototyping on Youtube.
My learning UI/UX introduced me to illustrations, which prompted me to start learning how to illustrate and how to use Adobe Illustrator.
That was how I was able to acquire all these skills
UCM (user-centred mindset) and sensitivity to design have proven to be vital when working with clients, agencies brands to develop digital concepts and solutions
